What to Decide Early

Installation risk drops when the hard questions are asked upfront.

  • Are invert elevations and tie-in points known?
  • Does the property have records for existing grease lines or old interceptors?

  • Will DERM, building, plumbing, health, landlord, or municipal review affect the schedule?

On a typical installation, Genesis can lead the construction sequence and coordinate the parties needed to execute the work. Field responsibilities may include mobilization, work area protection, excavation support, interceptor placement coordination, backfill, concrete or pavement restoration, schedule communication, and punch-list completion. Plumbing tie-ins, engineered documents, electrical conflicts, utility adjustments, inspections, testing, or specialty work are handled by the proper licensed parties or coordinated according to the approved contract and permit requirements.

This distinction is important for owners because grease trap projects often cross trade boundaries. A contractor that only thinks about the tank can miss the concrete restoration. A plumbing-only approach can miss traffic, slab, access, and business interruption issues. Genesis' advantage is managing the whole path while respecting which work must be performed, reviewed, or approved by others.

Operational Constraints

Installation plans should fit the business, not just the drawing.

Restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, schools, and commercial kitchens cannot always pause operations for a perfect construction window. The installation plan should address delivery access, customer or guest areas, food service hours, noise, odor, dust, temporary barricades, parking, night work, pump-out access, and when restored surfaces can return to service.
